In the next performance for their autumn series of brilliant concerts, Welshpool Music Club has confirmed that a first-class duo are confirmed for November.
The Giraldus Duo will perform in the town on Thursday, November 16, demonstrating the wonderful range of music there is in the repertoire for the viola.
Helen Shilsky (viola) and Simon Reynolds (piano) will play a programme of music ranging from the early 18th century to Schubert and on to contemporary composers by an instrument much less often celebrated than its cousins, the violin or the cello.
The concert takes place in Welshpool Methodist Church and starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £15 (£5 for students) and will be available at the door.
