Big Halloween fundraiser for youth theatre

A youth organisation’s ongoing fundraising efforts to provide opportunities for dozens of local youngsters continues this Halloween with a monster bash.

The Montgomeryshire Youth Theatre was featured in a MyWelshpoolTV report last month,  which highlighted the tremendous work it is doing with youngsters aged from seven up to late teens.

But with more organisations chasing smaller pots of arts money, the organisation has launched an extensive fundraising campaign with next week’s Halloween bash at Guilsfield Community Centre hoping to boost the coffers.

Tickets are still available for the bash and for £20 it includes entry, food, Halloween games and live music from the brilliant Gone West featuring Heather Bebb and Billy Spencer.
