MP lands job in Prime Minister’s office

Montgomeryshire MP Craig Williams has been rewarded for his loyalty with a job in new Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s team.

Mr Williams, a vocal campaigner for Mr Sunak during both of his campaigns for the top job, has been appointed as Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Prime Minister.

He is no stranger to working with Mr Sunak having previously worked as his Parliamentary Private Secretary when he was the Chancellor of the Exchequer in Boris Johnson’s government.

Mr Williams said: “I look forward to supporting him as he focuses on rebuilding public trust and supporting the economy.”
