Victim airlifted to hospital after serious incident at Raven

Armed police surrounded and closed a Welshpool pub/restaurant this afternoon and one person was airlifted to hospital in Stoke.

There was a huge police presence with areas cordoned off at The Raven following reports of a stabbing incident on the premises with a person, believed to be a man, receiving a serious injury.

The bar and restaurant remain closed this evening.

Dyfed Powys Police have been asked for a comment.
