Mellington Hall NOT closing: It will be business as usual
The owners of Mellington Hall Hotel have stepped in to ensure that one of the area’s most prominent country properties will NOT be closing
Earlier today we reported that the outgoing tenants had announced that the premises would be closing on October 27 when they plan to move out - but the Evans family, who also own the Holiday Home Park, have stated they are due to take back Mellington Hall Hotel from November 1st – and that means it will be business as usual.
The family announced: “As many of our Facebook friends and visitors will know, the Evans family, who also own the Holiday Home Park, are due to take back Mellington Hall Hotel from November 1st, following the departure of the present tenants.
“We will be running the Hall ourselves and employing Dawn Davies as Manager. Dawn is highly experienced in the field of hospitality and already owns a similar, successful business of her own.
“Mellington Hall will be open for business from the moment of handover. We are extremely excited about our plans for its development and the opportunity to focus on serving local residents, local produce, and of course, our holiday home park customers.”
The outgoing tenants announced on their website that they would be closing the business down on October 27.
