Study Support Assistant (Newtown College)

Are you passionate about supporting others? We are looking for Study Support Assistants to join our student support family. This role would be suited to someone with a friendly personality and someone who is eager to create a supportive environment for our students.

About the role: To provide general support and enable access to learning opportunities for specified learners, support includes providing personal care for students (some of which may be of an intimate nature e.g., toileting) You will also be providing support as outlined in our student personal and medical plans.

Scale 2, Points 14-16, £25,949 - £25,949 per annum, pro rata. (Equivalent to £11,222 -£11,222 per annum)

Band B.  19 – 24 hours per week (may include evenings and weekends). 

Permanent, part time, part year, 37.8 weeks per annum. 

About you: We would like you to apply if you have a level 2 qualification in English and Maths and you are IT literate to Level 2 with working knowledge of MS Office.
