Farm Worker (Newtown College)
Looking for a hands-on role in the outdoors? We’re seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Worker to support day-to-day operations at Fronlas Farm at Newtown College.
About the role: To provide support to Fronlas Farm and the Agriculture department and where necessary deputise for the Farm Manager.
£9,448 - £15,280, pro rata, per annum (equivalent to £7.55 - £12.59 per hour) dependent on age, grade, skills and experience (subject to the provisions of the Agricultural Minimum Wage (Wales) Order 2025-2026).
Part time, permanent.
24 hours per week (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).
About you: Candidates must possess a level 2 qualification in Agriculture (or equivalent) and have relevant experience in sheep and beef enterprises. The ability to operate tractors and all other farm machinery is essential as is knowledge of health and safety requirements.
