Engineering Apprenticeship
Local well-established company looking to recruit an engineering apprentice.
The successful applicant will work with in a skilled engineering team. You be trained to maintain a wide range of production equipment using both preventative and reactive maintenance strategies whilst also being trained in tig welding, milling, lathe work and bench fitting.
Aswell as onsite training the successful applicant will be sent on day release to college, where they will receive 6 years of training to achieve both level 2 & 3 mechanical and then level 2 & 3 electrical qualifications.
The ideal candidate must have at least 6 GCSEs at Grade C or above that include English, maths and science.
They must have an interest in engineering and be hands on.
Applicants that already have some engineering qualification will also be considered.
Hours of work will be 8 till 4 Monday to Friday then moving on to a double day shift when trained.
