JOB DESCRIPTION - CHP Maintenance Engineer – Part time

RMGroup UK are one of the leading turnkey robotics and automation integrators within the UK, specialising in process and packaging end of line systems. Operating within the UK and overseas, the company designs, manufactures, commissions, and supports equipment within a host of industries, working predominantly with ABB Robotics as a Value-Added Partner.

We are currently recruiting for a CHP Engineer to maintain our CHP system on site at our factory in Newtown, Powys (SY16).

As the CHP Engineer you will be responsible for servicing and repair of our CHP units, including dealing with breakdown events.

We are looking for a well-organised individual who has good communication skills and an adaptable work style. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on CHP systems.

Role Description

• Day to day responsive and preventative planned maintenance works

• Fault-finding of CHP systems.

• Attend training courses when required.

• Working to relevant Health & Safety Practices while on site.

• 24/7 Breakdown Cover

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a CHP Engineer or working in a similar role.

• Strong practical knowledge of LTHW hot water systems, including practical experience of pumps including curves and performance, inverter drives, flow rates etc, desirable.

• Ideally a good technical understanding of CHP units/systems.

• Electrical fault-finding experience would also be beneficial.

• Previous experience in a service and maintenance environment.

• Good communication skills.

• Well organised and able to work on own initiative.

• Have good attention to detail.

• Full UK Driving License

Hours: 16 Hours per week basic plus breakdown hours.

Salary: £20.00 p/hr (Gross).

Bonuses: £0.02 bonus per kw/h of energy generated.

Holidays: 10 Days (exc. Bank Holidays)
