Bottled water to be delivered following burst pipe
Some households woke up this morning to a lack of, or cloudy, water with our local water company explaining by text message to customers that there had been a burst pipe overnight.
Engineers have been working on the problem all day, but despite many now being back on line the company is taking no chances and is delivering bottled water this evening.
“We are very sort for the inconvenience of your water supply being off,” they said this evening. “We have engineers on site working on getting your water back on as soon as possible but this is taking longer than expected.
“We have arranged for bottled water to be delivered and this will be with you this evening.”
