MyVote Matters - Welsh Independence

03/05/2026 @ 09:48

We are into the final few days of campaigning for the Senedd elections on May 7, and we continue our MyVote Matters campaign with a big issue on the doorsteps.

Welsh Independence is a lively talking point in Wales, and it has again become a vote winner or loser for the parties to campaign on this time around.

In the fourth of our five-part series, we asked the local candidates whether Welsh Independence is a good idea, or not?

Have you watched our reports? With 16/17-year olds able to vote in a new look election system that will see six people represent us, your vote has never been more crucial.

You can watch the latest report by clicking here.
