For the second time in a week, local police officers have come across a scene of absolute horror following a second dog attack on sheep in our area.
Officers said that the latest happened on farmland near Llanymynech Rocks, with the three sheep injured in the attack all pregnant and expected to lose their lambs.
It is the second attack on the same weekend following the one at Llanerchydol Park in Welshpool where sheep were killed and others had their ears ripped off.
This latest incident happened sometime between 9pm on Saturday, December 13, and 8am the following morning.
The rural crime team said that investigations show that more than one dog could have been involved, and have once again warned owners to “keep your dogs under control”.
