MyWelshpoolTV: Mr Potter to the rescue!

The story of the footbridge that links Oldford with Maesydre gave us plenty of headlines last year, and our first MyWelshpoolTV report of 2025 shows that it had a happy ending.

After dozens of letters from Cllr Nick Howells to business to help pay for the bridge’s renovation went unanswered, Mr James Potter stepped in to save the day.

The work was done, and the bridge has been saved for generations to come, and we were there to capture the moment it was officially reopened.
