Half price trips for locals on the Llanfair Ginny!

People living in the area local to the Llanfair & Welshpool Light Railway can ride the train for half price on a weekend in March.

Anyone living in the postcodes in SY15, SY16, SY21 or SY22 can visit the tourist attraction from March 21 and 22 to enjoy a 50% discount.

“We love being part of our local communities of Welshpool and Llanfair Caereinion and hope that this will enable many of you to come for a ride on your local friendly steam train!” a spokesperson said.

To book your tickets, use this link, and type the first part of your postcode (SYXX) in the ‘discount code’. You just bring proof of address with you when you visit.

The offer is applied to Standard Class Adult, Family, and Access Card Tickets only, and can’t be combined with any other discounted ticket or offer.
