Masked Singer coming to Meifod!

There’s a fantastic and fun night of fundraising this Saturday when a local version of The Masked Singer will be organised by Cobra Rugby Club in Meifod Village Hall.

Organisers have promised that ‘five local legends’ – all proudly associated with the club - will be behind the masks with all to be revealed on the night itself following a closely guarded secret!

Proceeds from the night will be shared between funding the club’s U15’s Italy Tour 2026, as well as the DPJ Foundation and Target Ovarian Cancer.

“It’s shaping up to be a night full of fun, laughter, shocking reveals and unforgettable entertainment - the perfect way to bring the community together in true Cobra spirit,” a spokesperson said.

“All money raised will be split between two charities close to the U15s team — DPJ Foundation and Target Ovarian Cancer — as well as supporting the squad on their upcoming trip to Italy to compete in the prestigious Carwyn James Memorial Cup at the beginning of April.”
