What a night... and there could be more!
A packed house gave a standing ovation to Starsailor frontman, James Walsh, following a tremendous hit-laden night of entertainment on Saturday night.
Organisers pulled some strings and worked their contacts to book the talented frontman of a band that produced hit-after-hit in the 2000s.
Between tours with his band, James does his own shows and Saturday’s at the Institute, in Llanfair Caereinion, showed why is in such demand.
“It was a tremendous night,” said one of the organisers, Jane Evans. “He had a standing ovation at the end of the night, although most people were on their feet throughout!
Support was provided by local artists Iwan Evans and Tammy Wilde and James later posted photos from the gig on his own Instagram and Facebook profiles.
