Countdown on for Newtown Food Festival

A wide range of food producers, stalls, music and other entertainment will be coming to Newtown in two weeks.

The annual Newtown Food Festival is already sold out with stalls and organisers have promised a bumper event on 7-8 September.

The event includes a main stage, Food to Go Lawn, bar, children's village, festival kitchen, producers lawn and marquee within the Town Hall Grounds in the town centre.

Among the entertainment is Montgomeryshire Youth Music, Monty Folk, Newtown Musical Theatre Company, Newtown Male Voice Choir, Tommy Mills, Ffonic, Built 4 Comfort and many more throughout the weekend.

Food demos are planned by Andrew Birch, Head Chef at Checkersv in Montgomery, Newtown Community Kitchen and others.

A wide range of exhibitors are also booked with tempting food and more.
