A round-up of what’s been going on and what’s coming up in Llanfyllin.

Monthly Tea and Singing

The popular tea and singing sessions take place on the last Friday of the month from 2pm-4pm in the Club Room at the Llanfyllin Library Building.

This friendly group welcomes new participants. They sing old time songs accompanied by a pianist.

Hot beverages and refreshments are available during the session so join in for an uplifting joyous afternoon on October 27.

Cosy Book Club @ the Library

The book club meets monthly on the third Wednesday of the month from 1pm-2.30pm.

The October read is ‘The Marriage Portrait’ by Maggie O’ Farrell. If you’ve read the book or would like to join the book club, contact cathrynhayward1@gmail.com

Llanfyllin Art Club exhibition at the Library

Paintings by the art group are on display at the Library throughout October.

The group meets every Thursday at the Llanfyllin Library building from 10am-noon to paint and socialise.

If you would like an opportunity to paint in any art medium, just turn up and join in.

Qigong for Vitality and Wellbeing

Discover inner tranquillity and vitality through the ancient practice of mindful breathing and energy flowing movements to enhance wellbeing, reduce stress and cultivate an inner calm.
