Massive MyWelshpool milestone reached!

These may be tough times for the local media industry nationally, but MyWelshpool continues to buck the trend with incredible reader numbers, and a new social media milestone has been reached.

As the big stories keep on coming, our Facebook page has reached 15,000 followers this week, and our Twitter page is edging close to the 5,000 mark. MyNewtown’s social media following is proving equally as impressive too.

We’ll report back on our monthly readership figures tomorrow, but while local and national newspapers collectively report alarming slides in sales, we can confidently say that our readership remains strong despite the issues with Facebook blocking content from news providers.
