Pharmacy wants budding artists to highlight NHS services

A Welshpool pharmacy is urging local budding artists to come up with interesting artwork to help them highlight the services on offer.

Rowlands Pharmacy has put the call out for youngsters to help them decorate their branch with a competition running through to the end of October.

“We are looking for some artwork to help display the wonderful service our chemist can provide free of charge (with some restrictions) with the support of the NHS,” a spokesperson told us.

“We want the local children to design posters for some things that can be treated right here at Rowlands.

“All they need to do is drop in their designs with us with their name and age.”

In the meantime, the pharmacy has also listed the services available to tackle the following conditions:

Acne

Athletes foot

Chicken pox

Cold sores

Conjunctivitis

Constipation

Diarrhoea

Dry eyes

Hayfever

Headlice

Ingrown toenails

Mouth ulcers

Oral thrush

Sore Throat swaps

Ring worm

Thread worm
