‘Lack of interest’ ends Welshpool business networking meets

A local mental health charity will be holding its final business networking group on October 4, citing a ‘lack of interest’ for not continuing.

Ponthafren has been bringing businesses together every month this year in a relaxed environment at The Armoury.

But interest has dwindled and the event next week from 10.30am to 12:30pm will be the last, with donation accepted from attendees.

“Sadly, this will be the final business networking event at Ponthafren as it has been decided to close the event due to lack of interest,” a spokesperson said.

“We would like to take the opportunity to thank all those who have attended and supported the group, it has been a pleasure to spend this time with you every month.”
