Welshpool firm declared ‘carbon neutral’
Speed Welshpool manoeuvres vehicles ranging from vans up to artic trucks and delivers anything ranging from small packages and parcels, to multi-pallet consignments and full loads.
But the firm has a strong passion for the environment and has been certified as carbon neutral by Carbon Neutral Britain.
“By offsetting our carbon footprint - with projects to remove CO₂e from the atmosphere - we have balanced out our emissions to become carbon neutral,” the company has declared on Linked In.
Speed Welshpool has been supporting carbon offsetting projects by Carbon Neutral Britain which are verified to the highest standards via the three largest carbon certifications in the world, including the United Nations Certified Emission Reductions (CER).
Carbon Neutral Britain believe planting trees is the most sustainable way to carbon offset, as forest projects absorb CO₂, refract the earth’s heat as well as having a positive impact on wildlife, ecology and biodiversity.
