There is no change at the top of the Montgomeryshire and District Airgun League after all three pace setters won their matches on the final regular week of the season.
But with Churchstoke waiting on two re-arranged matches to be shot and sitting just two points off the top, the pellets are in their hands. However Crew Green A and Castle will have something to say about that!
Guilsfield A currently sit in pole position following a comfortable home 203.5-190.9 win over a depleted Newtown side due to illness. Keiron Cornell (35.4) and Paul Phillips (35.3) both shot possibles.
Arddleen came away from Guilsfield B with a 203.1-198.1 victory to hold on to second spot with a higher average score to Churchstoke. Andy Lawrence (35.5) and Richard Lewis (35.5) shot possibles for the away side.
But all eyes will be on Churchstoke who maintained their push for the title with an outstanding home display which shell shocked an improving Llanfair 210.3-194.2. The home team shot an amazing four possibles with Jane Thomas (35.6) missing that .1 for a maximum. Malcolm Jukes (35.2), Paul Gwilliam (35.4) and Alan Baker (35.5), who had an almighty head-to-head against Llanfair's Dai Tom Williams (35.4) all shot possibles.
Crew Green A used home advantage to beat Castle Caereinion (201.3)-197.6 in a close match to leapfrog them into fourth, with captain Nigel Kelton getting a well-deserved possible 35.2.
Richard Morgan (35.2) and Rob Williams (35.2) replied with possibles for Castle.
Crew Green B came away from Forden Forden 197.6-186.8 victors with Joe Hilditch (35.3) possible top scoring for the visitors.

Team of the week
This has to go to Churchstoke for that team score of 210.3
Match of the week
The best team match was Crew Green 'A' v Castle. However this week’s award goes to the head-to-head between Alan Baker (35.5) and Dai Tom Williams (35.4) which went down to the last shot for that .1 win for Alan.
