Search steps up for missing James

Police have confirmed that they are concerned for a missing young farmer who was last seen at The Royal Welsh Show on Monday night.

Friends and family sounded the alarm yesterday afternoon by appealing for people to keep an eye out for James Corfield, 19, who also plays cricket for his home town Montgomery.

Police initially confirmed that they had received a report, but last night they started issuing official appeals for information.

And this morning they have Tweeted: “Going to ‪@royalwelshshow / Builth Wells area today? Please let us know if you see 19 y/o missing person James Corfield. Call 101 with info.”

It is also believed that friends, family and a number of other people will be joining police in searching areas on foot close to the Showground today.
