Local libraries are providing an online service that allows access to thousands of graphic novels and comics, all available for free over a seven-day loan period.
“For fans of comics and graphic novels, this is a great free service to be accessing, and it’s a service anybody can enjoy, even if they’ve never tried graphic stories before – there’s comics and graphic novels for all ages,” said Kay Thomas, Principal Librarian for Powys Library Service .
“It’s also good news for some of our younger readers, who enjoy the visual impact and immediacy of comics, making it a popular leisure activity that sparks the imagination and keeps them reading.”
