Choir’s 15-year celebration

Quindici, the acclaimed chamber choir, celebrate 15 years of music making with a concert in Berriew Church on Saturday, July 15 at 7.30PM.

The choir were formed 15 years ago, and as there were originally 15 singers, the name Quindici was chosen – being the number 15 in Italian. Hence the concert is entitled ‘15 at 15’, and it is appropriately being held on the 15^th!

The concert will be raising awareness and money for the charity Rekindle, Small Steps, which helps young people with mental health issues.

The choir’s Musical Director, Suzanne Edwards, said: “The choir are really pleased to be helping this very worthwhile charity by means of a birthday concert.

“Over the years we’ve helped many local and national charities, and it’s a really big part of what we do.

“We hope people will come and help us celebrate our birthday as well as supporting Rekindle and the wonderful work they do.”
