B&M now opening on May 20

B&M has announced that it will be opening its brand-new Welshpool store on Saturday, May 20 - earlier than originally stated.

Management originally announced the doors would open on May 30 but store manager Darren Fountain today told MyWelshpool that date had been brought forward to May 20,  creating 40 new jobs. 

In a statement, B&M said it is one of the UK’s fastest growing retailers and that Welshpool customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded products including toys, food & drink, pet range, health & beauty and homewares.

A spokesperson said: “We’re feeling really positive about the creation of new jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.

“We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers in a few weeks.”

Job roles have been advertised on the B&M website - roles range from sale assistant to floor managers and cleaners, there are a mixture of full and part time positions – temporary and permanent.
