Woolly visitors at Maesydre

They might well be knocking it down soon but surely these sheep are a bit too soon moving onto Maesydre School playing field.

The sight of grazing sheep on their sports field will greet pupils as they turn up for school this morning and this picture was sent to us by a wide-awake MyWelshpool reader.

Plans are being drawn up to knock down the ageing Maesydre School and build a new Welsh language education centre on the site but there are no plans for sheep grazing in the near future.

The sheep will provide some light distraction for arriving children as staff seek to find out where they belong.
